What is VRV or VRF?

(VARIABLE REFRIGERANT VOLUME) is a modern and advanced air conditioning system, and it is considered a new birth of high-efficiency cooling systems in the world, and it will undoubtedly change and enter into the air conditioning systems for buildings with different cooling loads and will provide a wide range of different applications for air conditioning in hotels, schools, government departments, homes, and others, With the simplicity of control and control. It was discovered and developed in Japan for Daikin Company, and other companies continued to produce this system with the spread of its technology, but with different names (VRF) for many famous brands, such as (L.G “Multi-v” - Midea - Samsung - Mitsubishi) MCC Air Conditioning is one of the companies in the Kingdom to provide this technology to its customers and to help them with all information about the (VRV) system in many projects in the Kingdom.

Ventilation Solutions

Ventilation is one of the most important architectural requirements that must be taken into account in the architectural design inside buildings and facilities, especially for spaces where there is moisture due to the lack of natural air or entry in small quantities, or interior spaces that are not reached by natural ventilation, or high-rise and compact buildings.

Ventilation work!!

This process is done using fans (Fans) in different cases, including 1. Normal ventilation work It is a process of withdrawing unwanted air and pushing clean air in its place in some cases and according to the requirements and nature of use. 2. Emergency ventilation works. The most famous of them are fire cases (Don't let it be), in which the smoke extraction process is carried out with special specifications (withstanding high temperature) suction fans, and they are linked to the fire system. And also cases of air pressure of escape stairs (stairs) and this process takes place in high buildings and this pushed air increases the pressure in the stairs so that no smoke leaks to it in cases of fire, in order to allow people to exit the building, and all of this is designed according to international specifications and codes, the most famous of which is the code Fire Fighting (NFPA)

The purpose of the ventilation process!!

The purpose of the ventilation process must be determined according to the nature of the place and its requirements from the renewal of air and the percentage of air to be renewed or replaced, its uses, and its sources. Determining the amount of air and its specifications. Determine the ventilation system, whether it will be central, that is, by adopting a fan and ductwork, or by split ventilation, that is, each place is independent of the other. Ventilation works are divided into:

• Fresh Air
• Exhaust air from the inside out
• Fresh Air and Exhaust at the same time in some places.

Types of ventilation systems!!

• Ceiling or central fans (Roof Mounted)) and they are installed outside the building on the upper roof and are used in both cases to pump fresh air or suction the air, but in the case of pumping air from outside, they are installed with filters to purify the air.
• Inline Fans are installed inside the building above the false ceiling and also work in both cases of air intake and air pumping from the outside.
• Cassette Fan, which is attached to the false ceiling as if it were part of it
• Wall Mounted fan, which is mounted on an opening in the wall, facade, or glass window overlooking a street or skylight.

(VRV) system!!

The system consists of one outdoor unit, connected to more than one indoor unit of various shapes, such as hidden, cassette, wall, etc. Compressors or compressors work with the inverter or digital technology, according to the names of each of the air conditioning companies that manufacture this system, in unconventional ways.
